Guerilla PR Excerpt
Just to give you an idea of what you can expect from one of our Modules…
What’s newsworthy?
In Public Relations, reporters are looking for angles that are newsworthy. They don’t want to see a release that sounds too promotional, or self-serving. There are a few things to ask yourself when sitting down to write your first news release: Is my story timely? Is it unique? Does it appeal to a broad audience? Am I an expert on this topic? Am I available to talk about this story? Is there an emotional element? Is my story significant? If you can answer yes to at least three of these questions, then you have the basics for a good news story.
Lots more good stuff in there to help you think like a PR pro (and it really is a way of thinking…).
